I wouldn’t say I’m an inspired writer; comparatively, writing is inspiring. It happens when I attempt to capture the essence of the message swirling around in my head and words tumble out in such a rapid progression, they challenge my 90 wpm typing pace.
Words have always comforted me, in the form of books, quotes, and poetic expressions. Furthermore, I believe no form of art is greater than discoveries descriptively inscribed for future eyes from the inner sanctum of each internal paradigm. Each message is so uniquely crafted.
Inspiration has no boundaries. Consequently, when I least expect it, a thought will hit me and then comes the feeling of urgency, I need to write this now! Even in the kitchen, as I peacefully repeat mundane tasks, something will trigger the immediacy of the moment. When the words are being magnetically drawn to the paper, I can easily dismiss even the disruption of the whistling tea kettle. And that is precisely what took place today, as I sat down to officially begin my career as a writer.
So many messages sent via words have touched my life which is why these most recent words have touched my heart. “Everything in life has to start somewhere, and that somewhere is the beginning.” (Writers Market 2018 (first page). The Chinese proverb that says the journey of a thousand miles begins with the smallest step indicates a beginning. Either way, being an advocate for baby steps, I am ready to begin.
And I would love to bring you along on the journey, please join me.
