I believe that God is in me as the sun is in the color and fragrance of a flower – the Light in my darkness, the Voice in my silence.”
Helen Keller
You asked yourself, “what is my purpose?” And you opened your eyes to see a tiny ray of sunshine sprouting from the hardened surface of the earth. A miniature reflection of the love in your heart beckoned your nurturing.
Our burdens are said to be cast upon our shoulders at a rate of which we can bear, yet at times we question what we are truly meant to do.
While taking a meditative walk, you were able to notice hopefulness, in the form of a discreet and overlooked work of beauty created for you in that moment. You took it one step further and dug up this fragile flower to accompany you on your journey back home where more fostering was needed.
As your heart expanded with appreciation for this small representation of God’s message to you, you propagated it with great care. And it grew in tandem with your heart’s awareness.
Although it was possible for your delicate plant to survive alone, it thrives by your hand of encouragement as do the hearts of those you’ve touched. The love you show helps others grow.
And I am reminded, once again, our purpose is part of a much grander plan. In the meantime, as a caretaker of the most magnificent garden, may we find joy in the simple act of cultivating the fruits of the spirit while being nourished with each new bloom in the garden of hope. Read previous post.
With you in sweet contemplation,

You are such a flower of beauty. Don’t let your roots of growth ever dry up or not produce. For you are true light for that growth & nourishment for the soul & protection of the heart. You my child are the meaning of Life. 💖
